Mortgage in Spain Calculator

The mortgage amount you can get as a non-resident in Spain is usually between   60% -70% of the purchase price, excluding costs, which in average are 12% depending on the location and type of property. In addition, your ratio debt to net income cannot exceed 30-35% to ensure that you can pay the installment established when contracting the mortgage loan without haste.


Normally in Spain mortgages are taken for a minimum term of 5 years   and a maximum term of 25 years. The maximum age for completing the mortgage is 75 years.


It is important to know that each bank sets different risk criteria that will not only be conditioned on the applicant's profile but also on their country of residence and the currency in which the revenue is earned. Likewise, properties that are located outside of Spain are not usually considered as collateral or guarantee due to their inaccessibility.
